Austin Schumacher oversees the Culture & Entertainment Marketing team at Lyft. Since joining the company in 2013, he has led the development of Lyft’s entertainment partnership programs, original content, and influencer marketing group.
In 2018, Austin launched Lyft Entertainment, the company’s content development arm which produces original and partner series including Undercover Lyft, Billy on the Street, 5 Minutes From Home with Stephen Curry, and Kevin Hart: Lyft Legend. Austin's team has developed high impact partnerships and award-winning campaigns to grow the brand with companies across music, TV, film, and sports.
Prior to joining Lyft, Austin worked in advertising and innovation consulting as a strategic planner.
