CHRIS STEGNER
Chris Stegner is the Co-Founder & CEO of Very Big Things. In April 2018, together with six partners, he created Very Big Things. Since he has developed a scalable plan to grow the company with senior talent and has expanded it to three international offices with more than 45 employees. With Stegner at the helm, VBT has created absurdly great digital experiences for both well-funded startups and enterprise clients such as BoatSetter, Papa
Technologies, healthcare technology giant Banyan Medical Systems, edu- tech mogul Certify- Ed, and USeDirect. Work with advertising agencies has included the likes of Local Drive and partnerships have been garnered with the live mapping mogul MapBox. At the same time, Stegner has been a vocal advocate and supporter of the growing South Florida tech ecosystem.
Chris considers himself fortunate to have seen and participated in creating successful technology products and companies and feels this gives him a unique perspective on the process. As a startup CTO, founder and consultant, as well as a venture capital firm, he has helped countless companies scale and develop successful products and companies.
Chris launched his first successful startup, 3D Studio Max World Wide, at the early age of 13, has since moved from Seattle to South Florida. He has assisted in launching hundreds of digital products for some of the world’s most recognized companies, government institutions, and startups. He also served as a junior partner & CTO at z9 Capital, a $25 million venture capital fund in Boca Raton, Florida. Chris has translated these experiences have in toe a different level of understanding of startups he mentors, as well as an unprecedented track record of success for the clients of Very Big Things.

In 2019, Stegner led the team to be one of five finalists recognized in the prestigious Webby Awards’ Apps, Mobile, and Voice: Lifestyle category.
