JULIA MCINNIS, LANCEALOT AND LINNIS MEDIA

Julia McInnis is the co-founder of the NYC-based sports content companies Lancealot and Linnis Media.

Lancealot is a marketplace for hiring content creators who specialize in sports storytelling, and it works with brands, publishers, teams, and leagues to help them hire amazing creative talent. Linnis Media is a strategy and content development firm focused on the Chinese sports market. Its service include social platform management (Weibo and WeChat) and content development for athletes and sports organizations. 

Outside of Lancealot and Linnis Media, Julia leads workshops for members of the Xessentials female founders incubator in NYC, and is experimenting with a podcast about trends in sports storytelling around the world. 

Julia started her career as a producer for the documentary filmmakers DA Pennebaker and Chris Hegedus. She received her BA from Trinity College, CT, and her MBA from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business. While attending Booth, she was the senior associate for the Chicago Media Angels' VC investment group.
