KEELY WACHS, GOAL FIVE & CLIF BAR

Keely Wachs is an entrepreneur and marketing executive working at the intersection of sport, sustainability and social purpose.  A life-long soccer player and coach, Keely is passionate about helping people and communities reach their full potential through the game.

Keely is co-founder of Goal Five, the soccer apparel brand dedicated to celebrating women soccer players’ greatness; director of company affairs for Clif Bar & Company; President of East Bay United, one of the largest youth soccer clubs in northern California; and a Board Member for Street Soccer USA, a non-profit dedicated to helping teach critical life skills to at-risk youth through the game of soccer.

A life-long soccer player, Keely was a northern California Olympic Development team member and an all-conference forward and midfielder at U.C. Davis.  When he’s not coaching, he still plays with a crew of talented but ornery weekend warriors in a Bay Area adult league.

Keely holds a Masters in International Affairs from the University of California, San Diego with a focus on environmental and economic policy, and a B.A. in Latin American Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
