KIRK COUSINS

Kirk Cousins is a 2x Pro Bowl Quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings. Kirk attended Holland Christian High School where he became a three-sport athlete and graduated with 3,204 passing yards and 40 touchdowns.  Kirk continued his football career at Michigan State University where he was named Second Team All-Big Ten by his coaches and received the 2011 Lowe’s Senior CLASS Award.  Kirk was the second, 3x captain in MSU history and voted to the role by his peers. Kirk graduated in 2012 with a degree in Kinesiology and received an Honorary Doctorate of Humanities in 2019 when he returned to MSU to deliver the keynote commencement address.   

In 2012, Kirk was selected in the fourth round of the NFL draft by the Washington Redskins. He became the starting quarterback for the team at the beginning of the 2015 season and led the team to an NFC East Division Championship. He broke several franchise records throughout his time in Washington.  In March 2018, Kirk signed with the Minnesota Vikings on a fully-guaranteed three year deal. During his first year with the Vikings, Kirk Completed 425 passes in 2018, a single-season Vikings record. His 70.1% completion rate was the 2nd-highest mark in the NFL in 2018, 2nd-highest mark in franchise history and the 10th-highest mark in NFL history. In 2019, Kirk led the Vikings to a Wildcard victory over the New Orleans Saints, the first overtime Playoff win in team history. 

Kirk is known both on and off the football field for his exemplary leadership qualities.  Kirk and his wife, Julie, dedicate their time to numerous non-profit organizations and in 2018 established their own family foundation.  Kirk is widely known for his Christian faith, committing all his success and leadership to the glory of God. Kirk and Julie are proud parents to their two sons, Cooper and Turner.
