MARCUS THOMPSON II

Marcus Thompson II is a lead columnist at The Athletic Bay Area.

He is a prominent voice in the Bay Area sports scene with 20 years of sports journalism in the area. He covered the Warriors for 10 seasons before becoming a columnist, growing into a leading voice for the area — especially as an advocate for his native Oakland.
